About me............
Richard Lee, BA (Hons), MRTPI
I am a Chartered Town Planner with over 20 years of public and private sector experience. Before forming my practice I worked at a senior level for a local planning authority for 12 years in Yorkshire followed by 7 years in the development industry as a director of a house building company in the North West.
Basically, I've worked on “both sides of the fence” and draw on this experience to achieve the consents you require to maximize the development potential of your buildings and land.
I formed Richard Lee Project Planning in 2004. Dealing with all aspects of planning work, I am experienced in working in multi disciplinary teams on major or complex development projects. I act for a variety of clients with wide ranging interests. Most of my activities are site specific but I also give general or one off advice on specific planning or development issues. From time to time I am retained by companies to give advice on potential development opportunities.
Whilst my client base is mainly in the North West, I also deal with projects in Yorkshire and the West Midlands. My network of professional contacts in planning and related disciplines is extensive so I can assemble an appropriate team of professionals to deal with the requirements of a particular project.
I have particular experience in dealing with housing developments from single plots to major residential development and redevelopment schemes.
